I know I haven't blogged about anything for ages now...I have been helping out at my church's kindergarten, Tadika Rajawali. And I had a week off for Chinese New Year...
Well, this is like the first time in years we had a Reunion Dinner since what we usually have is Reunion Lunch because according to mom, it is more convenient and there wouldn't be such a rush to clear the dishes... If you're wondering what our Reunion Dinner was like..take a look at the picture...there's just Mom, Dad, Audrey and me....

Yup, pretty simple eh??? Audrey and I wished that we could experience the "commercialized Reunion Dinner" which is always shown in the TV whereby lots of relatives sit around a big round table...and the kiddies say, "Ah Gong, Ah Ma, jiak peng!" Then everyone feasts happily and besides, I want to have a go with pulling the Yee Sang..whatever that is because I never tasted it before...
On the last day of the year, my neighbourhood friends and I would usually hang out together and chat..burn some newspapers for fun which we didn't do this year because it's kinda lame now and besides, we're facing global warming. Shereen, David, Wendy, my sister and I were pretty much cooped up in our house as the stupid and annoying kids outside were lighting "cai lei"( a type of firecracker) which I'm pretty much afraid of as they are VERY LOUD!!!! Another thing is we didn't get to play with sparkles too as we finished our supply last year....So, it was quite a bore at first before we decided it was "cai lei" free and went out....
Well, I made a video of what was left to blog...because I'm lazy to put it to words...Hahahaha...
Why the sudden negative thoughts you asked me???
The reason why I am not in a "YOOHOO!!! NEW YEAR!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA and then BOOM you passed out after you had too much Tiger beer.." mood is because Jodi, one of me best buddies had left me....She has gone..Gone...to another place.........another place called...KL...(you go zzzzzzzz). Well, she's about to start her A levels there.
I sent her off just now...After a lot of hugs...I didn't cry though...As in tears bursting out of my eye sockets!!! Wakaka....I didn't know whether to smile or cry...Well, poor Lydia....(Jodi's younger sister)..All alone in a 2 storey house with an orange tom cat called Garfield in the afternoons...on weekdays....

2008 has come and gone. 2009 came and I bet a lot of people were probably out partying, having countdowns. Well, all I did was watched You Tube in my PJs..and what did I exactly watched??? TVXQ (yeah, the korean boy band)..hahaha...Later, the tv was switched on in case there were any special new year programmes...I was so tired that I fell asleep but before that I asked my sister to wake me up when the final countdown begins...Anyway...
